Didn't expect Surefire to hit me the way it did, that horn section alone was worth the purchase. The duet on the title track with Brittany Howard gives me chills every time.
The bass on Penthouse Floor hits so clean on this pressing, and Chance's verse comes through crisp even on my cheap car speakers. I've listened to Darkness and Light ft. Brittany Howard about six times now and it still gives me chills.
Overload with Miguel is the track I keep replaying, the way their voices trade off in the back half is just gorgeous. Jewel case arrived with no cracks and the disc plays clean all the way through. Easily one of the best sounding CDs I've picked up this year.
