DARKNESS AND LIGHT Book + CD Bundle:
This limited edition package takes fans through a year in the life of John Legend during the creative process that lead to his most artistically ambitious album to date, DARKNESS AND LIGHT. The book was designed by the album creative director, Rob English, to reflect the experiences that influence the music.
It contains 156 pages of words and images taken throughout the year John Legend was writing and recording DARKNESS AND LIGHT. It begins with his listening and learning tour through American prisons to guide his activity in the #FREEAMERICA project. Then we see a behind the scenes look in the studio as John Legend records with Producer of the Year Grammy Nominee Blake Mills as they crafted DARKNESS AND LIGHT, including appearances by Miguel and Brittany Howard. Finally, we get an intimate look at John Legend's growing family with Chrissy Teigen and his daughter, Luna. With photographs, thoughts, writings, and lyrics, the DARKNESS AND LIGHT book is an intimate journey into John Legend's creative process.
